ANNE-KRISTIN BREIT
Magazine Designs
In my work as a Graphic Designer, I had many opportunities to create annual reports, research books and orientation packages, learning how to make information more engaging to interact with and to read. This is something I'm passionate about and seek to expand my skill set further to become even more effective in visual communications.
I'm passionate about seeing cities change for the better and creating this magazine allowed me to explore this, as well as step out of the box of annual reports and pushing my skills into greater creativity. Exploring cities with different styles, colours and graphics has given me greater depth and inside into the complexities of cities, but also their beauty and creativity.
In this annual report, I was able to lead a team working on it, project-managed from start to finish, as well as bringing it into its print-ready format for distribution. The great aspects about project was the ability to tell the stories from Manila all across the city and through this giving hope and courage for the future.
This research book has been a great opportunity to work on the things I'm passionate about, especially incorporating maps and the value they contribute in giving information. Over 160 pages, we managed to give a brief glimpse into the vastness of the city with ways to see change and transformation.
Two orientations booklet I've created for Manila, as well as for Kolkata. I've seen my growth as a graphic designer in each project. Incorporating more infographics, colours, illustrations, as well as layouts.
